I think what’s disturbing about truthful books written by unrepentant people is whether there’s deception. I’m good with truth statements by unbelievers who don’t claim faith. At least the context between the writing/writer is transparent. But there’s something so distasteful about truth claims being made under the guise of fraud.

Yes, a different / higher standard for church leaders is a must … it’s biblical and appropriate for the protection of the sheep. Leaders shouldn’t be upset with this … but embrace the higher calling.

Another interesting comment about cancel culture … and getting removed from the church before / without having a chance for repentance and restoration. Being left to deal with it alone outside the church … recipe for disaster. I though that was insightful
